Slept "late", as in 8:30am or so. Then kinda goofed off for much of the morning, since there was a thunderstorm that kept me offline away from the things that I needed to do for a while. Lounged around in bed for another hour or two. Watched some Anime. Played some DW4. You know, stuff like that. (And enjoyed the rain, of course, even if it did keep me offline for a while. We're kind of in the middle of a massive drought around these parts.)
Did manage to finish the Kanon 2006 synchro with northlander72, though. Been wanting to since before I crushed my hand. Didn't get a chance to do much RP posting today, but I got reasonably caught up on Saturday. Also logged back into the T.H.E.M. Anime forums and started posting again. Great buncha guys, and I just got out of the habit of posting there, or on any other forum or website for that matter. Except for here, of course, but I kinda neglected this for a while as well. Besides, I'd rather hear about what people are doing, what's going on in their lives and what's really important to them than replies to random message board games. *shrugs* Though I've tried to keep up with a majority of people through here, in a way it does feel good to be "back".
Don't know where along the way I became so damned antisocial, though. It's a far cry from my college days, for those of you who knew me then. I need to work on that. I used to be able to manage several forums, plus a regular D&D game, plus the popular MMORPG of that time, plus regular poker nights, plus who knows what else. Oh, and classes and stuff, too. Heh. But point is, not only could I handle it but I loved being so interconnected with so many groups. Not so happy with being a shut-in. But, I'm making it a point to be more social online, and IRL things should improve dramatically once I move into my new place as I'll be mere minutes away from the action instead of at least an hour out. Less than two months away now, so them move-in date's getting close.
And Dale Junior got a top five finish! Top ten last week? Top five this week? A lot better than those two DNF's to start the year. Come Talladega time, he should be back on top of his game - just in time for NASCAR's fastest track. XD
Watching opening day baseball right now. And even if he's pitching for the bad guys, Glavine is still awesome. I distinctly remember being pissed once I heard the news of the trade, though I'm too lazy to dig through the archives to look for the exact post. Not much else is goin' on right now, but then again, who could really ask for more?
