One Week

Not really a whole lot to talk about. Went to Em's birthday party. Two dozen of her closest friends showed up and showered her with DVD's and such, so I think she prolly had a good time. I can say with certainty that those of us at "the ass of the table" had a blast. Much fun was had, especially when talking to Tiff about WalMart and stopping the entire table mid-sentence after they overheard part of our discussion on electric nipples.

Me, James, and Tiff and some of her friends all went bowling on Friday. Kind of annoyed me that once we split off onto a second lane, and after I took my ball with me to said second lane, the jackasses we previously shared a ball return with got up in my face and tried to start something with me. But it amused me that the folks pissed off and trying to pick a fight with the redneck and the biker were all from some church group, or so the various religious sayings on each of their shirts would suggest. So much for "turning the other cheek". (And people wonder why someone as highly spiritual as myself refuses to go to church? Heh.) Instead we shared a different console and ball return with some snot-nosed kids. They were better behaved than most, so I shouldn't complain, but I will anyway. Little bastards wouldn't stay on their side, and kept sitting on the ball return. Four or five asses in a row, to the point it was hard for me to even pick my ball off of the now wobbling ramp.

Tonight was Miso. Pretty unremarkable - just another day. Only thing different was that WWE SmackDown was across the street in the Mitchell Center, and if I thought that I'd still be in town come August I prolly would have bought tickets. Didn't matter, though, cause the club was fun. Kodancha and Angelic Layer were good, those being the only two shows I'm really watching. Some new mech show started tonight that looks like a (very bad) crossover between RahXephon and Evangelion. And one of the girl pilots, every time the three jets joined to form the giant mech, would yell out something like "It feels sooooo good~!" Me and James, up there in the Outlaw Section by ourselves, couldn't help but cut up and snicker. Yeah, our minds were in the gutter, but it didn't help that the three characters were also nekkid during the transformation scene. But come episode two, I found out it wasn't just me being a smart-aleck, because this time she yelled out "I'm COMING!" And the translator note specifically mentioned that in Japanese, she was either screaming "go" or "I'm in the process of achieving orgasm." Yyyyeah.

Got some interest in a D&D game. FINALLY. Only took three years, but maybe we can assemble a stable group. After as much fun as my Shifter had in v3.0 that one game he/she/it was in, I so very desperately want to try out a Master of Many Forms in v3.5, even if a Druid 20 or even Druid17/MMF3 would be much more powerful. *grins*

It's almost five in the AM. I'm not tired in the least, but I gotta at least try for a quick nap.
