Help Desk, Stupid questions will not be tolerated

I'm quickly losing my ability to deal with stupid.

Just because I'm no longer having my soul raped on a daily basis, it doesn't mean that this fun new job doesn't have it's share of user support nightmare stories as well. Though perhaps "nightmare" is too strong a word - it's more like doing support work for your grandma, only a dozen times over.

Sorry to bore you with tales from the trenches, but I just had to share. It's not the soul-crushing misery that I had to endure at CMI - far from it, in fact - but things like this do amuse me.
