This meme has been brought to you by your friendly neighborhood star_gazer_021:

1. One book that changed your life:
The Holy Bible by Moses, Paul, et al. Easiest question on the page.

2. One book that you’ve read more than once:
The Count of Monte Cristo, by Alexandre Dumas. One of the best books ever written, and certainly my favorite.

3. One book you’d want on a desert island:
The Art of War, but Sun Tsu.

4. One book that made you laugh:
I don't read a lot of comedy books...mostly fantasy and sci-fi. And even when I do, I usually only smirk when I get to the good parts - I can't think of a single time when a book has ever had me actually laughing out loud.

5. One book that made you cry:
See the above. There's been some gut-wrenchingly sad parts to various books I've read, but things like that don't make me cry. I'm too tough for tears.

6. One book that you wish had been written:
I guess for lack of anything better to put down here, I'm gonna say more Elric of Melnibone or King's Blades books, as those are the two series that I'm most into. And if you haven't already, start on those two series immediately. Go directly to the bookstore, do not pass GO, do not collect $200.

7. One book that you wish had never been written:
I can list several here. And while I do love the classics, The Scarlet Letter immediately jumps to mind. DAMN that book sucked! And Hawthorne apparently has no idea what a run-on sentence is, because I've seen him quite literally meander across several paragraphs in that book before stumbling across the first period. -_-;

8. One book you’re currently reading:
The Compleat Bolo, by Keith Laumer. One of the ones the J-man sent down with me...pretty good so far.

9. One book you’ve been meaning to read:
The David Eddings books. ALL DOZEN OF THEM. Got about 80% of them stacked up here on my desk, and I'll probably have the ones I'm missing by the time I finish with The Compleat Bolo, Impossible Odds, and the three King's Daggers books. Still haven't gotten around to The City in the Autumn Stars, but I think that one'll come after Eddings as I've been meaning to read those for a while now.

10. Now tag five people:
Ugh, I hate this part. Lemme tag jovan_scorn, lenihanfighter, thedelphi, brokenannabelle, and enigmajoe2002 and hope they're not too annoyed at me. Either do it or don't, whether you're tagged or not. Doesn't matter to me either way. *shrugs*
